Henderson Beach State Park was voted on TripAdvisor as the #1 thing to do in Destin, Florida. It’s a short 5 mile drive from our property and a great place to checkout if you’d like a guaranteed parking spot and well-maintained beach. The cost is only $6 per vehicle (subject to change) for 2-8 people. The park is open from 8:00 a.m. to sundown, 365 days a year. If you need to get out of the sun, there are pavilions dotted throughout the park, perfect for a picnic lunch.
Crystal Sands Beach is open to the public and there are rental chairs and umbrellas offered by vendors nearby. Only about 3 miles from our property, this can be a nice beach to make your way to. Crystal Sands Beach is located at Crystal Beach Drive & Scenic 98. This beach is open dawn to dusk daily and offers public restrooms.
June White Beach has public restrooms available and is located off of Scenic Hwy 98. There is a bike rack and public parking area and the beach is open from dawn to dusk on a daily basis. It is a linear park that provides access to the Gulf of Mexico. Every summer, there is a Kid’s Surf Classic held on this beach where kids (8-13) can show off their surfing skills.
